Weβve not made a figure since Monday, which is a bad look for a data science class!
Donβt worry, we did that deliberately. For two full days weβve been exploring the TableLands: grouped, aggregated, joined, stacked, pivoted and parsed. Some of those tables held real findings, and you could read them off the way you read a spreadsheet, one number at a time.
Today we take our last step, and it is the one all the others have been prepping us for. You will learn the anatomy of a figure in python, so that you can control how it looks instead of accepting whatever the defaults give you. Then you will work with a plotting library that takes a whole table and the names of two columns and does the rest.
Finally, this afternoon, you will pick your project.
